Winter

It shouldn’t really stop us going away in Wee Mo as she is all winter proofed with a really efficient heating system so maybe after the New Year when we get a bit more time we will head away for a few nights.

We found it quite odd that while the van has lots of safety features like a smoke alarm and co2 monitor that a couple of items weren’t included such as a fire extinguisher and fire blanket although a quick visit to Screw Fix sorted that.

Luckily I know one end of a Black and Decker from another so fitting them wasn’t a problem.

We’ve had the van for over 18 months now and are making it ours with little touches to make life easier. We are finding a few faults as well, the overhead locker catches must have been designed by a 12 year old, they are screwed into a very thin bead of mdf that is nowhere thick enough to take the screws, a really amateur fault.

It’s an easy fix if you know what your doing, but should you really need to on a new van?
