It may be cold, dark and dull outside but it’s a great time to start planning the year ahead.

We’ve got lots of ideas of places to go. some in the van and others further afield.
The North Coast 500 is high on the list, but do we go “off season” when it’s quieter or wait for the better weather, but it would be more busy? and do we go clockwise or anti clockwise? how many stops? a bit more investigating required.
There are a few cycle races that look good as well so I’ll try and fit in some of those, along with the World Championships in Yorkshire later in the year. We have always had great times in Yorkshire and don’t think it would be much of an effort to go back!!
I was given a gift of a book some time ago about a guy who went round the coast of the UK in his camper van , lots of interesting reading and ideas.
One thing for sure is we will need some guaranteed sunshine, but where to go? As someone famous once said “the world is your lobster”
